Required Qualifications & Background:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience working with grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
- Adaptable and resourceful approach to meeting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to support student learning and social-emotional development
- Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Lead and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
