Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to inform student learning and support
- Complete detailed assessments to determine special education eligibility
- Interpret a range of testing results, preparing clear and concise written reports
- Actively participate in eligibility discussions, IEP development, and parent meetings
- Collaborate daily with teachers, special education professionals, and administrators to foster student success
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and other student services
- Ensure all documentation is maintained in compliance with established timelines and standards
Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Possession of a Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Active and valid Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting evaluations, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Strong capabilities in report writing and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
