Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with assessment tools, developing IEPs, and interpreting evaluation results
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students
- Proficiency in providing both direct and consultative psychological services within a school setting
- Problem-solving attitude, organizational strengths, and flexibility in a dynamic environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Participate in team meetings to determine eligibility for special education and develop effective student plans
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive educational outcomes
- Support implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential records and documentation
- Contribute to a safe and supportive school climate for all learners
