The position runs from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering you the chance to foster student success across multiple grade levels.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist credential in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in K-8 settings preferred
- Knowledge of MTSS/RTI, special education procedures, and effective assessment practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students using appropriate assessments to identify learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to recommend interventions and supports
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Assist with crisis intervention and contribute to a positive school climate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, complying with district and state guidelines
