Preferred Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active and valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly valued
- Solid understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), behavioral interventions, and special education processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to conduct evaluations and write comprehensive reports
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform student plans
- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions and support services for students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative teams on IEP and 504 plan processes
- Support crisis intervention and provide counseling for students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and outside agencies to coordinate support for students
