Key Qualifications:
- Valid MA School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience in K-12 settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in conducting assessments, creating IEPs, and supporting students’ emotional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Counsel students individually and in group settings, addressing behavioral or emotional issues
- Support development and implementation of intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and other professionals
- Consult with teachers and staff to create positive learning environments
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with district and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention when needed
