Key Qualifications:

  • Valid MA School Psychologist license required
  • Previous experience in K-12 settings strongly preferred
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, creating IEPs, and supporting students’ emotional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ethical, student-centered practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Counsel students individually and in group settings, addressing behavioral or emotional issues
  • Support development and implementation of intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and other professionals
  • Consult with teachers and staff to create positive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with district and state guidelines
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention when needed
