Key Qualifications:
- Holds active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois
- Experienced in providing psychological services to school-aged children, preferably at the middle school level
- Demonstrates skill in psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and intervention planning
- Strong communicator who works well with students, teachers, and parents
- Organized self-starter able to adapt quickly in a dynamic educational environment
- Committed to confidentiality and ethical guidelines in school psychology practice
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations including cognitive, behavioral, and social/emotional assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct services such as individual and group counseling as required
- Support school teams in data-driven decision making for students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise in interpreting data and guiding interventions
- Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant state and federal guidelines
