Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to provide school psychology services on a contract basis. This role primarily involves working with school-aged, non-public students, including conducting evaluations and re-evaluations (ER/RRs) and a limited number of evaluations for students in alternative education settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive Evaluations and Re-evaluations (ERs/RRs) for both general education and alternative education students.
- Collaborate closely with education teams to interpret assessment results and develop recommendations.
- Provide consultative support to districts on an as-needed basis.
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation and adhere to required timelines.
- Deliver services 2-3 days per week during ESY (Extended School Year), with the potential to increase up to a full-time schedule for the upcoming school year.
- Participate in a seamless transition if extended or expanded for next school year.
- Ensure ethical, confidential practices with students and school teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting ERs/RRs in school settings, especially for diverse student populations.
- Understanding of special education processes and eligibility determination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to respond to district needs and adapt to changing schedules.
