School Psychologist - Burnsville, NC

You'll partner with dedicated educators, focusing on cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, and eligibility assessments for the Exceptional Children (EC) program, as well as conducting ongoing reevaluations.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license issued by the state of North Carolina
- Experience working with K-12 populations, with strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to perform eligibility testing for special education, including cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral assessments
- Capable communicator and collaborator with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of standardized assessments for initial eligibility and re-evaluation purposes
- Interpret testing results and develop comprehensive evaluation reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and parents regarding students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each student on your caseload
Enjoy a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, while earning from $40 per hour and up, based on experience and qualifications.
