The primary focus will be conducting evaluations to determine eligibility for Exceptional Children (EC) programs, along with comprehensive reevaluation testing. You’ll be responsible for cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral assessments—making a direct impact on the educational journey of each student on your caseload.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina license as a School Psychologist
- Experience with cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral testing
- Skilled in communicating assessment results to educators and families
- Strong collaborative abilities in multidisciplinary team settings
- Prior experience working with K-12 populations (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a range of assessments for EC program eligibility and reevaluation
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and administrators
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to staff and families
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation
- Support the overall well-being and academic success of students on caseload
