Key Qualifications:
- Active NC School Psychologist License is required
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly desirable
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Strong understanding of intervention planning, progress monitoring, and collaboration with IEP teams
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpretations to inform student supports
- Offer individual and group counseling, as needed, to address students' emotional and behavioral health
- Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing to IEP development and student planning
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive educational outcomes
- Assist in developing and monitoring individualized interventions and behavior management plans
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with legal and district requirements
