A new opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students. This contract role runs from July 29, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and involves working 37.5 hours per week, providing services across multiple school locations. The primary focus is on conducting evaluations, testing, and student counseling, ensuring students’ educational and emotional needs are met.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active South Carolina School Psychology License (must be current and in good standing)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Familiarity with assessment tools and best practices for school-based evaluations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and collaborate across school sites
- Comfortable working onsite in an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students
- Provide counseling and mental health support to K-12 learners
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations to staff and families effectively
- Maintain accurate records while adhering to state and district policies
- Support a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere across assigned schools
