Step into a rewarding contract position supporting high school students in a dynamic, urban educational environment as a dedicated School Psychologist. This full-time opportunity, running from August 24, 2026 through June 10, 2027, requires onsite presence for all five weekdays and offers meaningful engagement alongside a committed team. Your expertise will play a critical role in driving student success through evaluations and assessments.
What we're looking for:
- Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure in School Psychology
- Prior experience working within school settings, specifically at the high school level
- Demonstrated ability to handle evaluations and psychological assessments
- Experience or comfort working in an urban district, ready to engage with the local community and diverse student population
- Ability to secure and complete all Pennsylvania state-required clearances prior to the first day of work
- Strong communication and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
- Reliable personal transportation for daily commuting
- Availability for a strictly onsite schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:15AM–2:45PM, without schedule accommodation
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for high school students
- Collaborate with faculty, administration, and families to support student learning and well-being
- Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions
- Maintain clear, organized records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in meetings and provide guidance on behavioral and educational strategies
- Support a positive, inclusive school culture
