Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Comfortable conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Knowledge of RTI and MTSS processes
- Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and state-specific guidelines
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist or within schools, supporting K-12 students
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for services
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to design and monitor effective interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Participate actively in ARD/IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and crisis intervention efforts
- Deliver professional development and consultation for school personnel as needed
