Bilingual School Psychologist / LSSP (Spanish-English Required) | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year
Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual School Psychologist / Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support students for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students ranging from Early Childhood (ages 3–5) through 12th grade
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student success
- Participate in and contribute to ARD meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Support eligibility determinations and special education processes
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of an itinerant role
- Manage an evaluation caseload averaging 9 students per month
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential OR Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists (Required)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (Required)
- Previous school-based experience (Required)
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience participating in ARD meetings preferred
Credentialing Requirements
Candidates may be required to complete fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) if fingerprints have not recently been completed for another Texas public school district
Fingerprint processing may take approximately 7 days
Candidates will not be eligible to begin the assignment until fingerprint clearance is confirmed by the district
