Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist license in TN
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and counseling best practices
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Flexibility working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement interventions to support student learning and well-being
- Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Respond effectively to crisis situations and behavioral incidents
- Stay updated on legal and best-practice developments in school psychology
