Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Must hold a current Louisiana DOE certification for School Psychologists
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Willingness to complete district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to standard credentialing
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable to diverse student needs and capable of managing evolving caseloads across assigned schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Offer individual and group counseling to support student emotional and academic growth
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that address student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations that foster positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district standards
