This full-time, onsite contract position is focused on delivering comprehensive psychological services to a diverse student body throughout the academic year. Qualifications:
- Active and valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure (must be provided at time of presentation)
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based or high school setting preferred
- Strong background in psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Proven skills in report writing and documentation
- Successful history of participation in IEP meetings and collaboration with educators and district staff
- Comfortable working with high school-age students in an in-person capacity
- Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
- Willingness and ability to complete required fingerprinting process upon hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs and strengths
- Prepare in-depth evaluation reports for use by IEP teams and staff
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expert insights and recommendations on student progress and supports
- Work collaboratively with teachers, school counselors, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention and resource guidance when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations
