Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required)
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, intervention recommendations, and support for diverse learner populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability and professionalism in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student needs
- Develop data-driven intervention plans to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
- Consult with educational staff and parents to support student learning and development
- Assist in crisis response and contribute to the development of school-wide mental health programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs, eligibility, and response teams as required
