We are seeking qualified professionals for three onsite travel positions in Monroe County for the 2026-2027 school year, spanning from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027. These roles serve Jefferson, Monroe Public, and Airport schools, offering exposure to diverse student populations and enriching professional development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license required (verification needed using the state’s credential search link)
- Demonstrated experience working in K-12 educational settings is highly preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Solid understanding of assessment, IEPs, and multi-tiered systems of support
- Outstanding communication, consultation, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement intervention strategies based on assessment results
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to developing educational plans
- Provide consultation, crisis intervention, and support services to students and staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success and well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
