Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification required to practice in an educational setting
- Experience or specialized training in Early Childhood, Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and High School populations
- Expertise in conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and supporting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Ability to create a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students across various grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective behavioral and academic interventions
- Support the development and review of IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Promote positive behaviors and mental wellness throughout the school community
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation according to professional and legal guidelines
