School Psychologist - Minneapolis, Minnesota
Step into a pivotal role supporting students and educators by serving as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational setting near Minneapolis, MN. Two contract positions are now available, each offering unique opportunities to create a positive impact through school-based psychological services.
Position 1: Part-Time
This assignment runs from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027, at 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week). The schedule follows school hours, 7:30AM to 3:30PM, allowing for a consistent routine and the chance to establish strong connections with students and colleagues.
Position 2: Maternity Leave Coverage
Starting October 5th, this temporary position offers up to 12 weeks of full-time work (40 hours per week). There is increased flexibility regarding hours, and there is no work required during winter break.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure and credentials for School Psychology practice
- Prior school-based experience is essential
- Ability to successfully complete an agency onboarding process
- Clear district background check results
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- If previously credentialed, standing must remain in good order
- Ability to adapt to school schedules and assignment lengths
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct academic, behavioral, and psychological assessments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development
- Deliver direct and indirect services designed to foster student well-being
- Assist with the implementation of intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
- Participate in team meetings and IEP planning as required
