Step into a key support role in student success by partnering with a dynamic school district near Minneapolis, MN. This 0.4 FTE contract position is ideal for a School Psychologist seeking part-time hours with a meaningful impact. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, covering roughly 15 hours per week during standard school days (Monday through Friday). The onsite preference at a middle school campus provides opportunities to connect directly with students, educators, and families.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required; please submit with your application and resume)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist within a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent assessment, counseling, and consultation abilities
- Flexibility to work onsite with students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and special education teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support strategies for students
- Participate in data-driven decision making and contribute to positive learning environments
