School Psychologist - Minneapolis, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a contract school psychologist in the Minneapolis, MN area. In this flexible role, you’ll be part of a collaborative educational community dedicated to equity and culturally responsive practices. Multiple schedules are available—choose a part-time option working approximately 25-26 hours (3.5 days weekly) or about 18 hours (2.5 days weekly), with one position possibly transitioning to full time in the future. Typical hours follow the school day from 8am-4pm.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB-issued)
- Demonstrated commitment to equitable service delivery and inclusive practices
- Background in evidence-based assessment, intervention, and school-based mental health supports
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility preferred
- Experience supporting students and staff in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Strong facilitation, consultation, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention practices
- In-depth understanding of federal and Minnesota special education laws and compliance
- Prior successful work within urban or multicultural educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to K-12 learners
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in team-based problem solving
- Deliver guidance related to academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions
- Collaborate with staff and families to promote positive learning environments
- Support crisis response, prevention efforts, and ongoing staff development
