Qualifications:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field is required
- Active and valid Minnesota (MN) school psychologist license
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to support student learning and social-emotional needs
- Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
- Develop intervention strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Participate in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
- Offer crisis intervention and support as necessary
- Serve as an educational consultant to help create a positive, inclusive, and safe school climate
