Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of a master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Current and valid Minnesota School Psychologist licensure
- Experience working in K-12 settings, especially with elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and a trauma-informed approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to inform student support strategies
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs and behavioral plans
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to address learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as appropriate
- Assist schools in developing and maintaining safe, supportive learning environments
- Provide staff training on mental health, development, and best practices in student support
