Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field is required.
- Valid Minnesota (MN) licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience supporting students at elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Excellent ability to interpret evaluation data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), special education processes, and IEP development.
- Clear, compassionate communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs.
- Develop, monitor, and participate in implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and administrators to foster a positive, inclusive environment.
- Offer consultation and training for staff and families regarding mental health, learning differences, and social-emotional strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
