Three positions are open for immediate placement:
- Full-year, 2.0 FTE Behavior Specialist at Ann Bremer Education Center (two full-time openings)
- Behavior Specialist at South Education Center (1.0 FTE each—covering leaves of absence, with the potential for extension)
Preferred Background:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience as a BCBA, Behavior Analyst, Emotional Behavioral Disorder Teacher, Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher, or in school psychology/social work with behavior intervention focus
- Valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license (PELSB), or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (or in progress)
- Nonviolent crisis intervention training
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and interpret results for students, staff, and parents
- Assist in developing and implementing Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Create and maintain data collection systems to review and improve intervention effectiveness
