Seeking a skilled professional to provide psychological services to students in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated individual with experience in supporting young learners, specifically those in Pre-K through 3rd grade. The position requires on-site presence—virtual applications will not be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working with Pre-K students in an educational environment
- Familiarity with the evaluation, assessment, and support of children from diverse backgrounds
- Strong understanding of child development and early intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and staff
- Ability to adapt services to meet individual student needs within a team setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students in Pre-K to 3rd grade
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Provide consultation and support for behavior management, learning disabilities, and emotional or social challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
- Offer crisis intervention services when needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with all guidelines
This role offers a consistent, school-day schedule from 8:35 AM to 3:45 PM, allowing you to make a tangible impact on young students’ educational journeys and emotional well-being within a supportive school community.
