Exciting opportunities are available for experienced School Psychologists for the 2026-2027 academic year! Three contract positions are open to support K-12 students across multiple school sites in Monroe County. These positions are for dedicated professionals passionate about student success. Work onsite, providing high-quality, face-to-face psychological services within an engaging school environment, from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license required (verification needed via official state website).
- Prior experience in an educational setting preferred—serving K-12.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Familiarity with compliance processes and state educational regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and behavioral assessments for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
- Provide consultation and intervention for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
- Prepare and maintain thorough documentation and reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Support crisis intervention, re-evaluation, and student support teams.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP development.
