Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience in special education assessments, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
- Strong report writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Prior experience in elementary school settings is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive special education assessments for referred students
- Interpret and communicate assessment findings to educational teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Support the development of individualized learning plans and interventions
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to promote student well-being
- Provide consultative support regarding behavior management and academic strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
