This opportunity is for a skilled professional eager to engage with a diverse PreK-8 district and provide services that enhance students’ academic and social outcomes. Flexibility is offered for either in-person or limited hybrid work, with full-time hours ranging from 35 to 37.5 per week across the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Experience working within a school setting, ideally K-8, strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and grade levels as needed
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly valued
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to equitable access for diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students across PreK–8th grades (caseloads and grade levels assigned based on district needs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Develop intervention and behavior plans, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Provide crisis response and contribute to prevention strategies within the school community
- Offer short-term counseling and mental health support
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation, following school and legal guidelines
