Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Active state licensure/certification for School Psychologists
- Experience with psychological and educational assessments for children and adolescents
- Strong understanding of educational laws and special education processes
- Excellent communication, consultative, and collaborative skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student strengths and needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect counseling and behavioral intervention services to students
- Facilitate social skills groups, crisis intervention, and prevention programming
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to recommend accommodations and instructional strategies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant school policies, state and federal regulations
