Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Eligible for or in possession of Delaware School Psychologist licensure (pending applications considered)
- Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
- Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and collaboration with school personnel and families
- Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments to address students’ behavioral, academic, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individual and group intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support Special Education eligibility and services
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement effective support strategies
- Provide crisis intervention and promote positive school climate initiatives
- Assist with data collection and interpretation to inform decision-making and progress monitoring
- Contribute to the development and review of IEPs and 504 plans
