ProCare Therapy is partnering with a specialized school program in Delaware to hire a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a school psychologist seeking a full-time, school-based position supporting students from PreK through age 22. The role offers the opportunity to provide a comprehensive range of school psychology services, including evaluations, behavioral support, and counseling.
Onsite candidates are preferred, but hybrid options may be considered.

Responsibilities
The School Psychologist will provide the full range of school psychology services to support students with complex educational, cognitive, behavioral, and medical needs.
Responsibilities may include:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Develop and complete evaluation reports
Participate in IEP development, meetings, and reviews
Provide behavioral support and intervention
Provide individual and/or group counseling services as appropriate
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers
Support students with significant cognitive disabilities and complex support needs
Assist with behavioral and social-emotional programming
Monitor student progress and make recommendations based on assessment and behavioral data
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and professional requirements
Participate in professional development and school-based meetings as needed
Professional Development
The client values ongoing professional development and pays contractors for professional development days, allowing School Psychologists to participate as members of the school team.
Student Population
The position supports students ranging from PreK through age 22, including students with complex educational needs, significant cognitive disabilities, and medically fragile conditions.
Because of the specialized student population, this opportunity is well suited for a School Psychologist who is comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational environment.
Requirements
Appropriate qualifications to provide School Psychology services in Delaware
Delaware School Psychologist licensure/certification
Candidates with a license pending may be considered
Human Resources will assist qualified candidates with the Delaware license transfer process
Experience with evaluations, behavioral support, and counseling is preferred
