This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated School Psychologists who are ready to provide essential support and guidance to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Multiple full-time positions are available, with engaging and diverse caseloads of approximately 50 students each.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Qualifications & Credentials:
- Connecticut School Psychologist Certification – Endorsement #070 (or eligibility through CSDE)
- Graduate degree or completion of a qualifying program in School Psychology, including all required coursework and supervised internship/fieldwork
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment data to help determine students’ educational needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health and academic achievement
- Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams to ensure personalized support for diverse learners
- Serve as an advocate for the well-being of all students across your assigned building(s)
