This contract position places you onsite at a thriving elementary school, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive psychological services and championing positive outcomes for learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active School Psychologist license in Delaware
- Experience working as a school psychologist in an elementary setting preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes, FBA/BIP creation, and data-driven interventions
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Candidates must agree to and cover the $85 CBC fingerprinting requirement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and growth
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in student support planning, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
This role offers a set schedule with Monday through Friday daytime hours (35 hours weekly, 30-minute unpaid lunch), spanning from the start date through June 8, 2027.
