School Psychologist – School-Based | Full-Time | Newport, VT
Location: Newport, VT
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Work Setting: Onsite
Pay: $40.00–$55.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
The selected candidate will provide school-based psychological services while collaborating with educators, administrators, families, and support teams. This role requires a professional who is comfortable working across K–12 grade levels and providing comprehensive student support services.
This position is fully onsite. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite and traveling as needed. Hybrid schedules will not be considered.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations.
Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
Provide consultation and support for student interventions.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications
Active School Psychologist licensure/certification required.
Experience working in a K–12 school setting preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
Must be comfortable working onsite and traveling as needed.
