This assignment spans the school year (August 24th through June 4th), with a flexible, hybrid schedule considered and a manageable caseload supporting students across one to two schools.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Psychologist License required
- School Psychology experience with K-12 student population preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication abilities and adaptability in new environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for K-12 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of educational plans
- Offer consultation for teachers, parents, and administrators
- Document and report evaluation findings accurately and timely
- Contribute to a positive, caring school climate
