This full-time, contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering the chance to support K-12 learners across multiple school sites. Your expertise in assessments and experience with school-based psychological services will help ensure educational success and emotional well-being for students.
Assignment Details:
- Contract dates: August 11, 2026 – May 27, 2027
- Full-time: 35 hours per week
- Some itinerant travel may be required; school assignments may vary
- Primarily working with K-12 student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to support student learning plans
- Prepare detailed psychological reports and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with educators and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards for school psychologists
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health School Psychologist license (required)
- Proven experience performing psychological assessments in educational settings
- Background working within school-based environments (preferred)
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed
