Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field (required)
- Valid and active Nevada School Psychologist license (required)
- Proven ability to serve diverse student populations in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong skills in evaluation, assessment, and individualized education planning (IEP)
- Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, administrators, parents, and other support staff
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Consult with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address student learning and behavioral needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations for classroom modifications or accommodations
- Support student social-emotional development through direct and indirect services
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality protocols
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings
