Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (required)
- Active Nevada school psychologist license (required)
- Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and/or high school levels preferred
- Solid understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and relevant special education laws
- Exceptional communication skills to work collaboratively with faculty, families, and staff
- Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for students across multiple school settings
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement effective strategies for student engagement and achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district and state reporting requirements
- Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions as requested
