Key Qualifications:
- Must possess or be eligible for Connecticut School Psychologist Certification (Endorsement #070) as recognized by CSDE.
- Completion of a qualifying graduate program in School Psychology, including all required coursework and a supervised internship or field experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for special education or intervention services.
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation to support student social-emotional needs.
- Collaborate with IEP teams, develop individualized plans, and guide evidence-based interventions.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings, sharing insights to shape educational strategies.
