Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required
- Valid Michigan school psychologist licensure in good standing
- Experience working with diverse student populations across K-12 (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to support student learning, behavior, and social-emotional well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral interventions
- Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert recommendations
- Support crisis interventions and offer guidance on mental health matters school-wide
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
