Qualifications:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience in school-based psychological services
- Strong knowledge of evaluations, reevaluations, and student assessments
- Comfortable traveling between campuses as an itinerant provider
- Bilingual Spanish-English skills are a plus, but not necessary
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educational teams and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and triennial assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Provide professional recommendations based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to implement educational and behavioral supports
- Maintain prompt and accurate documentation in accordance with school policies
- Travel between schools as needed to respond to dynamic caseloads and ensure the needs of all students are addressed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
