Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure (temporary or permanent considered)
- Experience supporting students within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong capability in administering cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with teachers, administrators, and families
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and equitable practice
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret data
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), special education eligibility processes, and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to promote students’ academic and emotional growth
- Support programs focused on preventative mental health, bullying, and school safety
