This contract role spans the 2026–2027 academic year, engaging professionals who excel in psychoeducational assessments and interventions. Collaborate with a dedicated educational team to assess and support students with significant disabilities, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or using assistive technology for communication.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (Kansas or eligible for reciprocity)
- Solid background conducting assessments with students presenting a wide range of disabilities, especially intensive needs
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams in school settings
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and data-driven decision-making
- Outstanding communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to travel between campus sites as required within the district
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students, interpreting results to guide IEP development
- Provide direct and consultative services to support students' academic and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, related service staff, and families to design and implement targeted interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in eligibility meetings and offer expertise regarding appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions
- Flexibly manage a caseload distributed across multiple schools (additional details provided at the interview stage)
