Your expertise will make an impact through daily responsibilities integral to each building’s success. You’ll actively participate in problem-solving processes, join Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams, and ensure thorough, student-centered involvement in IEP evaluations and service delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience with K–8 student populations
- Strong familiarity with IEP evaluations, compliance, and related services
- Confidence in collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams, including crisis intervention and student support processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage onsite and foster strong relationships within each school community
What to Expect:
- Provide comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for referred students
- Collaborate in multi-tiered problem-solving and intervention teams
- Offer expertise during crisis situations and contribute to building safety plans
- Guide and support teachers and staff in implementing effective interventions
- Maintain compliance with all legal procedures for special education services
- Serve on Student Intervention and Crisis teams to promote student well-being
This is an onsite position (no travel candidates), offering consistent hours—37.5 each week—from July 30th through June 2nd. You’ll work directly at two schools located next to each other, ensuring seamless support for the K–8 community.
