In this building-based role, you’ll serve diverse student populations with a range of disabilities. Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Polish, or Arabic are highly valued.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification/license in Illinois
- Previous experience in PreK-5 school settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting student evaluations and assessments
- Experience facilitating and scheduling IEP/504/MTSS meetings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with students of varying disabilities
- Bilingual (Spanish, Polish, Arabic) skills desirable
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluate student needs
- Schedule and facilitate team meetings (IEP, eligibility, and problem-solving)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop student plans
- Provide consultation and recommendations to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Support a positive, inclusive school culture across three buildings
- Maintain accurate records and document compliance
- Serve as a resource for parents and staff on student mental health and learning differences
