Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued
- Skilled in conducting psychological and academic assessments, as well as diagnostic examinations
- Collaborative communicator, comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological, educational, and diagnostic assessments for elementary students
- Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student success
- Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling to support students’ emotional and behavioral wellbeing
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and intervention teams to develop individualized learning and behavior plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality in all student interactions
- Serve as a resource and consultant for education staff on behavioral and psychological matters
