This contract-based opportunity invites you to support kindergarten through 5th-grade students, collaborating closely with a dedicated building team that values each member’s expertise and insight.
As an essential contributor, your day-to-day routine will involve comprehensive psychological services and active participation on problem-solving and crisis intervention teams. Your role extends beyond traditional school psychologist responsibilities, as you’ll play a part in the Student Intervention Team and provide input for building-wide strategies that nurture positive student outcomes. Contribute significantly to IEP evaluations and services, helping students achieve both academic and personal growth.
What we're seeking:
- School Psychologist certification
- Experience working with elementary-age children (K-5 preferred)
- Familiarity with IEP procedures, assessments, and best practices for interventions
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to serving on on-site teams (not a remote/travel role)
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in eligibility determination
- Provide consultation and support for classroom teachers and intervention teams
- Participate in student intervention and building crisis teams
- Help develop and review IEPs, ensuring compliance and individualized supports
- Support proactive problem-solving processes for a caring, inclusive learning environment
