Step into a rewarding role supporting students from kindergarten through eighth grade at two neighboring schools. As a valued school psychologist, you’ll be instrumental in fostering positive learning environments and providing vital services across Wolf Creek Elementary and Forest Spring Middle School. This contract position begins July 30th and extends through June 2, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, all on-site.
Your expertise will enhance the educational experience by collaborating closely with staff and leadership. As a core building team member, you will engage in problem-solving processes, participate on the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams, and contribute your skills to IEP evaluations and services. Your insight will be critical to supporting diverse learner needs and driving coordinated, student-focused interventions.
What We’re Looking For:
- State-licensed School Psychologist or eligibility for certification.
- Prior experience working in an educational setting with K-8 students.
- Familiarity with child development, learning interventions, and special education processes.
- Strong assessment and counseling abilities.
- Effective communicator ready to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families.
- Comfortable working fully onsite at two adjacent school locations.
- Proficiency in managing standard caseloads and school psychology responsibilities.
In This Role, You Will:
- Conduct educational and psychological evaluations in alignment with IEP requirements.
- Collaborate in student intervention, problem-solving, and crisis management initiatives.
- Deliver targeted support to students and staff, promoting positive academic outcomes.
