Key Qualifications:
- Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Solid understanding of educational assessments, behavior intervention plans, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations for students referred for special education and related services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans (IEPs/504s)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address students' needs and support holistic growth
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, focused on promoting emotional well-being and positive behavior
- Facilitate interventions and offer resources for both students and staff
- Consult on classroom management strategies and accommodations to maximize student success
